Brixton has sprung!
The front garden is filled with a scramble of spring bulbs, tumbling upwards towards the sunshine.
I love the way crocuses seem to glow from within when they catch the light.
The winter clematis has been heroic right through the winter. Nearly time for others to take the baton now, old boy.
First peep from the creeper on the back wall. (Still not sure what this plant is. Any ideas?)
And the new shoots from the roses are red with celebration.
Inside, the orchid is joining the party – it’s popping blooms everywhere!
Some humble narcissi are filling the kitchen with their heavenly scent:
And on the windowsill are promises of flowers to come – hollyhock seeds from Michele and Jude and some honesty for good measure.
Happy blossom time, everyone.
