So I wasn’t able to make Crafty Fox Peckham in the end (we made a last-minute trip to Cambridge to go blackberrying with Ted’s lovely parents) but here are my top picks from the Peckham event traders on the Crafty Fox site. There were some lovely things.

I love this simple geometric jewellery because it’s just so *wearable*. Subtle enough for daytime, these pieces will go with everything. Each of them look like they’re future favourites.

Nikki Strange

Nikki’s cards and stationery are really fun – I love this design in particular – the camels silhouetted against the soft colours of the dunes. Check out the bright tropical designs in her shop – they’re also very lovely.

(Also, plain paper yay!)

I’m sorry to have missed out on these ceramics as they’re just what I’m after for some succulents. I love the way the roughness of the pottery is tempered by the simple glaze – it contrasts so well with glossy plant leaves.

This pencil case is rather adorable. They have some sweet clutch bags in suede (naturally) and metallic leather that are quite delightful too.

And finally, this very special pendant from Roderick Vere is cast in sterling silver from an original piece of letterpress type. Maybe one for the Christmas list? (But L for Linnie or R for Roses?)

Crafty Fox has markets coming up in Bethnal Green, Hoxton, Docklands, Brixton, Peckham and Sheffield. I highly recommend them if you’re after lovely presents for special people.
