A quick dash over to Boundary Street for lunch with lovely Urmee and her accomplice, Bertie.
(You should follow Bertie on Instagram – he has wonderful adventures.)
(That face!)
We met at Albion and Urmee and I both went for the salad table.
You can see why in the photo above.

Albion
It’s a lovely place, part of a small chain that I suspect has big ambitions. The vibe is like Bill’s but a little younger, a little hipper and a little more seaside-y.
Or maybe that was the sunshine that day.
The salads were excellent – pepped up with little jewels of pomegranate and dried cranberries – the sort of thing loved by ladies who lunch. If they did a cookbook, it might do rather well.
The shop attached to the restaurant is very cute too.

Temptations lie within …
On the way out, I picked up a couple of treats for Ted’s Christmas stocking.
(Sorry – first mention of the C-word this year – it’s far too early, isn’t it.)
Then a wander around Shoreditch …

<3 Shoreditch, <3 bicycles.
… where a ghost taxi was hiding in among the graffiti.
